Have seen her on stage twice, once in London in Naked which was absolutely breathtaking, and then on Broadway in Betrayal, which she was still wonderful in but the play itself is hateful. She has one of the most beautiful speaking voices I think I have ever heard.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Posted: 4/9/05 at 2:40pmI will say the final scene of that ho hum production was beautifully staged and lit. But after seeing her give one of the most intense performances I can remember in Naked, it was a little bit of a comedown.

Hot. She was also great in 'Unbearable Lightness of Being' and 'The English Patient'. Wish I had the chance to see her live.
