Just Broke My iPod Cherry - I Finally Bought One!

Well, I just bought me an iPod, after months of hammering and delaying and stammering.

Amazon had the white 60 gb video for 379, no tax, no shipping. I figure if I go to HK, everything will just go on that, and it will save me a lot of space. If for some reason I don't go to HK, well, that is what my bonus in March is for!

So now my cherry is busted, and I will be flailing around trying to figure out podcasts for the foreseeable future.

Patronus, I hope both you and Anji are very patient teachers!

(Oh, and bought a case and a video screen scratch protector as well).

Only when it comes to looking for the spare change. At least it was relatively clean!

But, a nice bath might fix that right up!

Make sure you protect your ipod...I'm pretty sure they have flavored cases by now!

I actually bought one of those "toughskin" rubberized cases, and two sets of video covers for the screens.

I hear that there are coming out with the lickable variety soon though. Perhaps I should have waited a couple more months.

My cherry is intact. I actually have a portable tape player that I use for song preparation and listen to it on the El.

Why didn't you buy it in HK? You could have gotten it for a lot cheaper!

How much cheaper?

I bet the warranty here is a big selling point (but if she's going to HK soon and for a long time, that's moot).

First off, mazel tov on your first ipod! I still don't own one, but I am looking into it! You can teach me all there is to know ('cause I don't know a thing) when I do get it.

I thought there was some new edition of iPod that I had missed, the iPod Cherry. And I wondered what you'd done to break it so quickly.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Well, because everything I need to put on it is here - and I don't want to drag it to HK with me just to make sure it works on the iPod.

I thought about waiting, but I was concerned about getting something that looked like an iPod, cost something close to an Ipod, but definately worked nothing like an Ipod.

If they truly are that much cheaper at authorized resellers, I would think about it, but then still have to wait at least 2 months to get everything on it.

I will be coming home every couple of months, so if it does break, I can get the warranty protection here in the states. I may just throw in my little Rio MP3 player in my luggage just in case!

I would rather have it with me and ready to go - one less thing to worry about. But, I may by many of attachments once there.

HK - Hong Kong, I am most likely going there for a bit of time in the next two months.

Got mine like two weeks ago. It was a birthday gift from the parents of one of the kids I work with. (Birthday is tomorrow, but they gave it early.) They had (Student's name) loves Amber lasered on the back. Too sweet.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

I didn't let Ipod near my cherry....only my Toshibi gigabeat had that honor.....

haha, I broke down and bought one right before I left for london...I don't know why I didn't have one sooner!! I suck...
