It was announced along with some other Marvel films like Thor, Captain America, and Avengers(July 2011).

I took a nice walk in the park today and when I decided it was enough walking, I decided to see Iron Man.

I enjoyed it immensely. Although somewhat predictable, it was exciting throughout. I wouldn't have mind seeing it again right after it ended. It was better than all the Spiderman movies put together, but the definitive superhero movie is Batman Begins.

It was weird seeing Gwyneth Paltrow in that role..and I didn't think she was particularly any good. I am glad that the movie didn't have any lame kissing scenes.
