Tried to go last night, Karma. Lincoln Plaza (the only theatre showing it on the west side...and god, how we all seem to hate the east side) was sold out.
Going to try again when it's playing at a few more theatres.

I know that is why i bought today for the 6:30 show tomorrow. opens in Boston tomorrow and I KNOW it will be sold out. So i want to ensure i have them. I remember when blair witch came out...i tried to go see it like 3-4 x before I finally got to a show NOT sold out. I cursed that movie cause i had to sit thru eyes wide shut.....i bet the sound track to that movie is good.... :-| I still hear that piano key ringing in my head now.

it must be confusing for you, jrb.
i was fun when there were people on the board who were able to debate. people who were able to see facts as facts and not as some subjective spin that could be interpreted however it suited them. people who recignized that all issues are not black and white and were able to concede that even a person holding a view that is the polar opposite of theirs just might have a point.
lately it has devolved into "i'm right because i'm right." if i attack people for using faulty logic and they get pissed about it and want to spin it so that i am being superior for requiring them to hold themselves to a standard measure of intelligent discourse, so be it.
i revel in being in the minority and if you had the sense god offered a brain damaged yak, you'd see that i'm not trying to change anyone's minds, but rather trying to point out the flaws in their reasoning. which, if they were to recognize they might find a method by which to present their arguments that people like me would not be to shred. but lately i have seen that the board is filled with people who believe because they believe and are right because they are right, the irony of that statement for the non-religious should be gob smacking. but it won't be.
