Posted: 9/16/06 at 9:42amBeen loving her with Julie at Carnegie Hall, and have been listening to Follies in Concert all week. What else is out there, besides FO/FI CD, which is winging its way to me as we speak (I mean write)?

Never seen, believe it or not. Loved her The Front Page with Walter and Jack. Must see again.
And, of course, A Wedding.

Fade out Fade in has become one of my most played cds in the lasr months. Especially "You mustn't be discouraged" and "It's good to be back home" regularly lighten my mood
.
You should of course also have Once upon a Mattress with her.

Actually, you should prolly keep holding out on seeing 'Pete N Tillie'.
I love Carol's face when Julie tells her "You still do" (look older than your age), on the 'Julie and Carol, Together Again'.
Didn't Carol do "Noises Off", the movie?

Posted: 9/16/06 at 9:58amI really wish they'd release the '79 TV movie FRIENDLY FIRE, with Carol and Ned Beatty. Two fantastically understated performances - completely believable.

Loved Carol in Noises Off, but not crazy about the flick.
Would love to see her again in Mattress. I remember the 70s TV version fondly.

I need to see that.
I remember thinking - "This must be serious. Carol has brown hair."

I love "House of Flowers"!
"When a bee lies sleeping,
In the palm of your hand
Your bewitched and deep in love's
Long looked after land..."
Or something like that. But it's fantastic.

Posted: 9/16/06 at 10:06amCan't wait to hear House of Flowers, luvliza. Love Capote and Arlen separate and what I've heard of them together (I Never Has Seen Snow, A Sleeping Bee). The complete score must be magical.

Oh Millie, I wish you'd been with me to see PUTTING IT TOGETHER.
Something unexpected happened that night and Carol almost fell to the floor laughing.

Barrowman sneezed and then Ruthie mocked him.
It was mayhem after that.

Pete 'n' Tillie was a wretched tear jerker best avoided by the over emotional (moi).
I'm waitin' on the second season of Cybill. This was released to the U.K. only, I don't know what that was about, but it's still hilarious...

I completely agree about Pfeifer. Alicia Witt was inspired, I expected to hear much more from her than we have.
I was devastated when they cancelled it. Loved Baranski, and you couldn't take anything away from Shepherd either.
Thank heavens for DVD boxsets: - )

Posted: 9/16/06 at 3:47pmI love Carol's face when Julie asks her "what have you been up to all these years?", in JULIE AND CAROL AT LINCOLN CENTER.

Posted: 9/16/06 at 9:40pmShame on CBS for not doing a proper job releasing her show on DVD. I think it is Columbia House who does the job and have stopped. Great movie sketches are NOT on DVD including "Mildred Fierce" and "Flora."

Posted: 9/17/06 at 9:46amYes, and shame on CBS for not releasing JULIE AND CAROL AT CARNEGIE HALL and JULIE AND CAROL AT LINCOLN CENTER. Although, I believe that in both those cases (and Carol's TV show, as well), CBS doesn't own the home video rights to it. In the case of Carnegie Hall, I believe it is Bob Banner Productions, and in the case of Lincoln Center, I believe Julie owns that, and Carol may own her own shows.
