Upon second viewing, I loved this movie even more. I'm a little sad that it isn't doing as well at the box office as most of the other Pixar movies have, but I think with positive word of mouth (and outstanding reviews), it can develop legs. Even if it doesn't, it lightens my heart to know that years from now, people will treasure this film as a true Disney classic, while other dreck like Shrek 3 will be dated and long forgotten.
Oh, and Rose, "When She Loved Me" just kills me too.
I loved this movie, it was very cute. I am begging my mom to let me buy a Remy. She says no stuffed animals lol
I recognized the voice of Anton Ego... was he anyone in other Disney Films?

Peter O'Toole? Nah, he's a newcomer, I think.
no I know who he is now (I looked it up, I didn't realize it was Peter O'Toole) but I thought it was somebody else who had been the bad guy in Disney Movies.
I noticed that Brad Garrett was Gusteau :)
Oh! Was there anything at the end of the credits, like what they did for Cars? I was with the kids I babysit and they didn't want to stay.
I liked the short in the beginning as well, but my personal favorite will always be the one with the snowman. :)
I saw it over the weekend and thought it was fantastic. The art direction is amazing...it really does look like a painting brought to life. So sweet, so smart, so French!

I saw it this past weekend, and liked it a lot. Try to see it projected digitally, if you can. I was amazed.

I saw it today for my birthday, and I loved it! Not the best Pixar, but still awsome! I love Pixar. And, talented rats.
I just saw this last night and was simply amazed. It is the most ambitious and mature Pixar film yet and one of the greatest animated films I've ever seen. No, it didn't have as many inside jokes and one-line zingers as the usual Pixar fare, but then, I didn't think it needed it. Part of what made it special for me was that it really was set apart from the other Pixar films. The plot and the screenplay were more complex and mature than their usual stuff. To me, this was a lasting work of art that I'd rather see nominated for Best Picture than Best Animated Feature Film (which it has in its pocket right now).
"We hate to be rude, but we're French."
AudreyTwoTwo - I think you are thinking of David Ogden Stiers. He has done a crapload of animated voices including Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pocahontas, Lilo and Stitch, Atlantis, and Hoodwinked as well as a bunch of made-for-DVD sequels.
I just watched this (I know, I'm very late) and found it wonderful. Incredibly animated, and a great story line.
Such a wonderful movie...one of Pixar's best, in my opinion, and without a doubt one of the top five best films of last year.
Just terrific...I cried through the last 30 minutes.
It was definitely one of the best films of 2007. I saw it in the theatre twice and own the DVD.
Monsters Inc: When Sully says goodbye to Boo, and then their reunion at the very end. "Kitty?" You're smiling through your tears!
Finding Nemo: Dory's speech: "I look at you and I'm...I'm home." And then when she says she doesn't want to forget and all Marlin says is "I'm sorry, Dory, but I do."
Ratatouille: The very end. I won't give spoilers, but it gives you warm fuzzies.
I couldn't agree more!! My sister is the one who got me to watch this just a few weeks ago come to think of it and I REALLY liked it! "Little chef" is adorable and I loved the ending.
