yum... marrow from the veal bone!
try some Prosecco for brunch, B... It's a bit lighter...
I once had a guy name Prosecco for brunch. He was a little heavy though.
Having sullied myself elsewhere on BWWe today I thought I would come by for the cultured refinement of this thread. Have the champagne flutes been put away yet.
Why thank you cookie - What a grand way to start the afternoon.

vintage Didier Herbert, B.. You could buy the baby Piper Heidsieck, and keep 'em for cleaning days. Just to take the edge off the Mrs...
I believe Veuve has mini bottles too...
nothing like champers to start the afternoon, Kansas. Always a pleasure to see you here...
Trouble??? Not that I'm aware of, or are you referring to my sullying?

Yes, Kansas, but I did not mean it literally.
C - good advice!
Trouble and champers should not go together. Especially when mixing different brands or different spirits...
Half bottles aren't much fun, and aren't quite cost effective. The minis are almost comparable to a full bottle... And it's just enough to give you about a flute and a half or so... But discard the silly straws...

I have heard of the straws in the Pommery at clubs, but I have not been to any establichment that could be called a "club" in years.

Peeks in to adore Cookie, right back! Your thread is much more quenching. Mines just hot and sticky all the time.

We had a pink Gloria Ferrar the other night - tasty.
They try to get you to do full bottle service instead at "clubs" B. Not to mention the ridiculous mark-ups to make it all more profitable. Lounges are more fun.
Lounges are LOTS more fun!
