Yeah I saw these like an hour after the VMAs on ONTD. Wasn't funny then, but it was at least funnier in the context of that cesspool of young self loathing internet sociopaths.

Someone who constantly makes a big deal about the way my age group is destroying the culture with their snark and disrespect probably shouldn't propagate their tasteless jokes like this. (Unless it's your big plan to use the My Mom's Doing It Now effect to destroy it.)

I was at a karaoke bar last night and someone was singing a taylor swift song. Someone then stood up, grabbed the mic, and said "Imma let you finish, but beyonce had one of the best videos of the year!" and he then proceeded to impersonate kanye west singing and dancing to single ladies. totally planned as they knew the guy running the karaoke but it was so brilliant and HILARIOUS!

Craig - Even if it wasn't someone from my generation, it was just some old self loathing internet sociopath co-opting a style of meme and communication that definitely originated with "my" generation. (I'm not laying claim to it in pride, just in fact.)

That joke is a product of the same attitude that you constantly lambaste on this board, so it was just a surprise to see you being the one to repeat it. That's all.

Well Craww - I didn't see it in that form. I was emailed it. And humor is humor. Believe it or not I do have a sense of humor. And the humor used here has nothing to do remotely with anything I've made comments about regarding other generations. I love good satire.
