Have any of you ever rented out a private room for karaoke in NYC at one of the karaoke bars? I want to rent a room for 10 - 15 people.
My options so far are
Japas 55
Village Karaoke
2nd on 2nd
I need advice on which to go on a Saturday night.
I've rented private rooms in NYC before but not for singing.
I just knew that that would be the first post to this thread!! LOL
I watch you like a hawk.
Anyway, my hangover is just about gone so I can start my day.
FILTH!
OH...and a friend had a bday at Village Karaoke (I was out of town doing a gig at the time) but everyone enjoyed it immensley.
check my updated message, you little crybaby!!!
The Lord helps those who help themselves. Robbie gave you the 411.
I have the 411 on those places. I just want to know if anyone has actually been there, done that at any of those or perhaps additional bars.
I will place a check next to Village Karaoke.
Zola, I am putting a yucky green star next to your name for that smart ass comment. One more yucky green star and you will have to clean my
awwwww, come on! I didn't mean it.
I'll clean anything anytime anyway.
With your tounge, Zola.
Had many fun nights at Jappas55 with a soap star beau..
Sing out Louise, indeed!
I just found out what tossed salad is, so I think I'm game.
****.
I ate at Cosi yesterday. I love how they toss my salad for me! :)
Thesis is a fun Kareoke place in the Village. I don't think you can rent it out, but if you're going with 10 people just go.
I think everyone should make it a point to come up to Hellsea (that's Hell's Kitchen, duh) on Wednesdays for sleazy old man karaoke at Cleo's 9th Avenue Saloon. I can't tell you how much fun it is to have 60 year old men try to give me money like I'm a common whore/stripper.
But seriously, it is fun. And it's Wednesdays at 10 PM.
I am a common whore/stripper and am always looking for new venues.
Zola we should team up and make a bundle, or gang up, something like that.....
or something.
well, Cleo's is the place to do it. I can always turn a buck with my startlingly passionate rendition of "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston (down a 4th, for those of you professional karaoke-ers...ain't nothing gonna make me try to belt high Fs).
