I did not know until yesterday that Karen Black has been suffering from cancer. She was a favorite of mine in the 70s. She was excellent in The Great Gatsby and The Day of the Locust. Burnt Offerings is a camp classic. I hope she fully recovers from this illness.

Posted: 6/22/13 at 12:56amI remember when she played the sea witch in Fairie Tale Theatre's Little Mermaid. I hope that she can overcome this illness.
