I must update everyone on a new tractor pasttime I was not aware of before. Tractor Square Dancing. I just visited a friend at her home in rural ohio and I guess her dad was quite the tractor square dancer. They made the national nightly news several years ago.

My avatar is a reminder to myself. I need lots of reminders...

Okay, you can all start laughing now at me.... but here's my question anyway:

How of these beauty girls ever really did a tractor pull did they? I mean, I dno't really remember too much of the talent, but I do recall Kate Shindle singing "Don't Rain on My Parade." There was a girl one year that did the monologue from "The Laramie Project." I don't even think I ever saw anyone twirl a baton.

My personal favorites from the past have been a ventrilouqist act and, of course, 'Flight of the Bumble Bee' played on the marimba.

Anybody got Trio? Cause sometimes they replay the 1983 Miss America Pageant. You know, with Vanessa 'Didn't tell you bout my dykey t*tty pictures, now did I' Williams.

That talent contest is EXTRAORDINARY. The girl who does 'Shine It On' is GENIUS!!!

But nothing compares to the poor dear that dances to 'Falshdance (What a Feeling)'.

Y'know, I can't recall any other Miss America (besides some wannabe part-time drag queens) who performed on Broadway. Maybe axing the talent competition is not such a bad idea.

She was Miss America? When 1922?
