Kate Winslet can sing?

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I heard a song by Kate Winslet called "What If." She has a great voice!

I love my Kate, but I wouldn't consider her singing "great."

She can sing decently, with studio whizzes amping up the effects to make it sound more vocally powerful.

It's a schmaltzy song, but I like it.

She also sang in Sense & Sensibility.

I thought her voice was great compared to the likes of J.Lo., Hilary Duff, Minnie Driver, etc. It sounds different than most and it's really beautiful. I think there's a clip of it here:

Compared to Hilary Duff, she is great... but I dont' think that she is a great singer overall, she is decent.

and I agree plum & robbie... she is much more than the girl from titanic.

Love4cheno... I remember that singing in Sense and Sensibilty... I didn't like it. It wasn't very good...

She's not the best singer, but her voice is very pleasant and with the right melody, it's very enjoyable. I loved her singing in Sense and Sensibility.

She can tapdance too. She did a number of Saturday Night Live the week after the Ashlee Simpson fiasco to preve she wasn't dubbed.

She'd make a great Sally Bowles.

She just completed filming a movie musical...can't recall the title but she pulled an Applegate and hurt her foot.

I adore Winslet and am wondering why she doesn't really do theatre? I don't believe she does any in London either.

And yes, can we please not refer to her as "the girl from Titanic?" Ahem...Heavenly Creatures, S&S, Holy Smoke, Eternal Sunshine, Neverland, etc. I'll see anything she does.
