In July 2010, Senator Reid promised Lt. Choi that he would lead the Senate to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Lt. Choi gave Senator Reid his West Point ring with the agreement that it would be returned after Don't Ask, Don't Tell was repealed. Today, Senator Harry Reid met with Lt. Dan Choi in his office to return the ring.
