Anyone else enjoying this album? I really like it and I'm glad Kelly is back to pop.

I haven't bought the album yet, but I am extremely excited about it.

I adore her.

And I loved My December, minus three or four songs.

It's pretty good, and it's been 1 and 4 all week on itunes. Glad for her.

I really like it, but I don't see why all the reviews have to elevate it at the expense of My December. The last album may have been a bit draggier, but if it weren't for the seriousness we wouldn't have Irvine. Which was one of the surprise best indie songs of '07. re: Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted

The pop songs on All I Ever Wanted are more and better than My December, but I think the "ballads" have a slight edge on My December. Maybe is still better than nearly anything on All I Ever Wanted.

I agree, Craww.

"Maybe," "Sober," "Be Still," and "Irvine" are all wonderful.

My December really had to grow on me, but once it did, I LOVED it--and still do.

I like All I Ever Wanted a lot--great CD. I also don't understand why there are so many negative attitudes towards My December. I thought it received good reviews despite its darker sound...

I have the CD looping in my car. But I seem to play "I Want You" a lot. It's a fun little 60s-ish tune to bust a move to re: Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted

I liked it at first, but now that I've heard it a few times I don't like it. All of the songs sound the same. I do like "Save You", "If No One Will Listen" and "My Life Would Suck Without You."

I still think her best CD was Breakaway.

I think everyone can agree that Breakaway was her best CD. :P

I Want You is annnoooyyyiiinnnggg... and yet I listen to it every now and then. I get sick of it so easily. It's cute though. It sounds like Duffy is singing backup in it. Did she write it? It has a Duffy sound to it...

LOVE Kelly, but I'm kind of "eh" about All I Ever Wanted. The up-tempo pop songs are definitely stronger and catchier than the ones on My December, but I only legitimately like about half of the songs. "My Life Would Suck Without You," "I Do Not Hook Up" and "Don't Let Me Stop You" are great pop songs, though. I agree with those who have said that the ballads were definitely stronger on My December (especially "Irvine").

I know it's kind of her style and everything, and she's too adorable to resent for it, but I wish Kelly could develop a little more as a lyricist (or her songwriters would help with that), because sometimes I find myself cringing. I guess it's an overall catchy and fun album and will certainly be more commercially successful than My December, but it feels like there's a lot of filler. Maybe it just needs to grow on me.
