Up until a few years ago either spelling was acceptable. However the Modern Language Association (MLA) ruled that the official spelling is "ketchup". To use "catsup" is to use an antiquated form of the noun.

The truth about Heinz-Kerry is that she is a strong woman who isn't afraid to express her opinions and she isn't mainstream...frankly nost people in the U.S. will find her offensive because she isn't into just decorating the White House and having a cause like 'Just Say No' thaht she can spend 4 yrs touting.
