I just had to post something about this; I'm very excited. Last time I went to a concert (other than benefit concerts) was when I saw the Backstreet Boys at the tender age of 16.
On Saturday, November 4, 2006 I will be traveling down to Tulsa, OK to see Ben Folds play at the Cain Ballroom. My excitement literally knows no bounds.
Anyone else have concerts coming up? And please, let me know that I'm not the only loser who only gets out to see plays and musicals as opposed to legitimate "rock" shows.

I saw Diamanda Galas smear fake blood all over her nude breasts while singing lovely ditties of death a few months ago...
...sure beats the hell out of Drowsy!

No, I don't. How about "pop" concert then? Either way, it was a birthday present and I went with my mom.
As of now, I'm making the 3 hour trip to Tulsa all by my lonesome. My friends are such losers, they probably won't buy tickets or make plans until the week of.
Justa--I would've KILLED to see the BSB reunion! Is it wrong that I bought their cd? *looks sheepish*

Backstreet Boys! I should've went to their concert in Pittsburgh last summer. *tear* I went to see BSB on March 8, 2001 (I think?)... but I've been to concerts since then. Loser. Hell, we're both losers for liking the Backstreet Boys in the first place. (And they're making another album... sans Kevin. Yeah, I'm a bigger loser for knowing that and I've come to terms with it.) :-P
And, er, Ben Folds... yay?

I've never been to a concert, so you guys are miles ahead of me. Musicals and plays are more often than not my only source of outside entertainment. If we're going to be losers, at least let's be losers together.
