The upcoming two-hour reunion featuring Michele Lee, Joan Van Ark, Donna Mills, Ted Shackelford, William Devane, Don Murray, Lisa Hartman, Alec Baldwin and special guest star Julie Harris will air on Friday, Dec. 2 on CBS.
Anybody a fan?
Addy, I was a huge fan of this show. I didn't know a reunion was in the works.
EXCELLENT. I never missed a episode.
JULIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was a huge fan of this show. Excellent!
kewl beans. it'll be interesting to see if joan still looks even younger than she did 20 years ago while filming the show....
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. My favorite show ever!!
So excited for this, I can't even tell you. lol
Coincidentally, the day it airs happens to be Julie Harris's Birthday.
RobbO, I thought the same thing.
It's hysterical, I seem to be getting older, whereas these people who've been around longer than I have, look younger!!
for a real treat try to catch the tv movie. "always remember i love you." joan is in it but she looks, ummm, quite different. i love the movie and i'm a sap for the ending - it always makes me cry.
check it out, it stars patty duke, joan van ark, david birney and stephen dorff.
No way, Robb - I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!
RobbO.. I LOVE THAT MOVIE
it's my guilty pleasure. i hunted and hunted to get a copy of that movie forever. it was always on lifetime tv every year around christmas but then they suddently stopped playing it.
i even had a friend talk to a friend of hers at the network to see if they were going to re-air it. they weren't.
then i found someone talking about it online. i found his email and offered to pay him to get a copy of his tape recording of the show. well, the guy who i never met before made me a copy and sent it to me!! how cool was that!
My Mom and I used to watch this when I was about 7 or 8. I loved it. I've seen every episode, and have fond memories of watching it with my Mom after I got home from school.
I used to have the biggest kid-crush on Donna Mills.
Are they ever going to release this on DVD?
In about a month, it will be on all the Lifetime channels on practically a continuous loop. One of those "Christmas movies."
RobbO, I LOVED that movie!
What kindred spirits we all are!!
I love that movie, too. KNOTS LANDING was my mother's favorite television show.
too, too funny.
back to KL. i remember catching it every now and then when i was a kid and stayed up late to watch it with my parents. i remember michelle lee's husband on the show was accused of rape and someone getting hit by a car out by the mailbox in the cul de sac (?).
when i was 16 i started watching it during the summer when the repeats aired on TNT or some other channel. i started watching from the very beginning and wouldn't miss it any morning until i had to take my driver's ed courses. i was so mad because i missed the few episodes right around the story arcs that i described that i wanted to see.
And Julie Harris rules.
she annoyed me on the show! i loved her in east of eden though.
i couldn't stand it when she arrived and lisa hartman was on - although it did also bring a young alec baldwin to the sac....
I loved how Alec baldwins character died.
oh, don't tell me i wanna be surprised!
totally forgot about Alec being in the show...
I believe Julie annoyed him to death.
I had (and have) a real thing for Hunt Block who played the evil, yet HOT, Peter Holister for two years. SWOON!
