I found it kind of odd that they blurred the face of the actress who played Laura (unless she wanted no part of this reunion). I was kind of hoping that Doug Sheehan would make an appearance.
It actually brought back a lot of memories when a group of us used to watch the show together when I was in college.

they probably did need her permission to air the clips.
something similar happened on the 'dallas' reunion.
donna reed's estate didn't give clearance to warner bros and they were
forbidden to use any footage of her in the reunion.
they only have the right to use her image for reruns ~ permission has to be given to use it outside of that.

does anyone know the name of the character or the actor who was in the photgraph that they showed at the beginning of the reunion. it was a black and white phot of ted shackleford, lisa hartman and another dark haired actor. then they showed him sitting in the audience in the scene where "CG" sings on stage in a bar/nightclub.
since lisa hartman was originally on during the 1982-83 season, he would be on during that time period and he was probably in his late 20s/30s at the time.
anyone know?

Posted: 12/3/05 at 12:59amThat could have been James Houghton. He played Kenny Ward. He was Lisa Hartman's manager when she played Ciji Dunne (before she was killed off only to be resurrected as Cathy Geary). He was part of the original cast along with Kim Langford who played his wife Ginger Ward.
