What a cool use of the Internet(s): a seachable database of everyone who signed a petition AGAINST gay marriage. They had one in Massachusetts and now they're going to have one in Florida.
So now you can look up your neighbors' names and see if they're bigots or not. The website say that you can then identify petition signers and engage them in "open and meaningful dialogue."
Or...you can decide what "secret ingredient" to put in that Bundt cake!
Let's show the homophobes what gay hospitality REALLY is!

Do you really think that's a good idea?
Next will you have access to my medical records?
My tax returns?
How about my voting record?
The ramifications of this are frightening...
There are other ways to win this war....

I agree with Addy.
I don't see what good could possibly come of this.

The immediate result of this is that you just lost my signature on any and all petitions.
Including those FOR the issues which I would have liked to support.

I understand how you feel--and it gives me pause, honestly it does--but since the names are available, I would like to have, as the Mikado sings, "a little list" of everyone who is willing to sign a petition to amend the Constitution, just so that they can deprive me of the right to visit my lover in a hospital room. Yes, I would like to know their names.
Yes, I'm sorry you will no longer sign petitions, but I'm sorrier still that so many abuse the petition process to defile the Constitution, and that they are cheered on to do so by a craven panderer in the White House.

Christ Church of Peace in Florida, which is sponsoring this, is hardly "accosting" people.
