Starring Marion Cotillard...down a bit. WHOOPS!

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

God, I love David Lynch. With so much crap coming out of Hollywood nowadays, I miss Lynch and wish he would work more.

Good thing Borstal wasn't looking at porn immediately before posting this. LADY DIOR by David Lynch

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

The bad sound distracted me too much and I turned it off.

It seems odd...almost like a Lynch parody. To be honest, I didn't find it compelling or entertaining-just some recycled Lynch elements. Plus, how weird is it that he's hawking a handbag.

I've been over the whole David Lynch thing for a while, ever since his back to back snoozefests MULHOLLAND DR. and INLAND EMPIRE, and this does nothing to change my mind. I only made it through the first half to watch Marion Cotillard.

I thought Mulholland Drive was a masterpiece. On the contrary Inland Empire made me want to gouge my eyes out and rip my ears off for 3 freaking hours.

Mulholland is a film I can watch over and over again. Really compelling. I also think Laura Elana Herring is one of the most gorgeous women I've ever laid my gay eyes on and I wished she worked more.

I thought MULHOLLAND DRIVE was poisonous crap, I've seen it three times trying to like the goddamn thing and just hated it more each time. The beginning of the end for Lynch, if he keeps producing crap like that and the boring INLAND EMPIRE I doubt I'll bother with his stuff any more.

And if this commercial is any indication of where Lynch is going, I won't be. Are the Dior people happy with this tired little piece of fluff?

LOVED Mulholland but HATED Inland Empire. I also must admit that THE STRAIGHT STORY is a guilty pleasure.
