I woke up this morning to find out it had SNOWED last night!
I think I can speak for a lot of us when I said the morning of the first snow is one of the highlights of my year!
My Amadeus cast is caroling on the street today to promote the show, making the snow PERFECT!!

Oh I will! Time to break out the corncob pipes and button noses.....
I'll hate it in about a month, or the first time I try driving on the 401 out of this godforsaken city (Sunday- back to the T-dot!!). But for now, I'm in heaven :)

Wonderful to wake up to! I did this morning as well!

Unfortunately soon after waking up to it comes driving to work in it. This is why I don't like snow.

Haha I did my driving exam in Mississauga rush hour during a snow storm.

I am also used to going to the dentist... doesn't mean I like it. hehe.

I actually don't mind it, it is the other drivers who bother me who have no ability to drive in the snow...

I did my driving test on a snowy Orchard Park, NY day. And from that day on, I've loved the snow!

My parents just built a new house and weren't able to put in grass yet, so they are just glad the snow is covering up their mud yard. hehe

It was the first snow of the year for me too this morning. Unfortunately, my roommate's boyfriend decided that it was necessary to come wake us up at 4 a.m. to share. First of all, he never knocks, he just walks in, and waking up to a strange guy next to your bed (well, until you realize who it is) can be creepy and second, I'd just gotten to sleep two hours earlier and I had to get up in three. Whatever, when I got up and saw all the snow, I forgave him...

Why do we play with fire? Why do we run our fingers through the flame? Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain? -tick...tick...BOOM!

I just did some caroling in the snow! Which made Winter Wonderland all that more enjoyable!

It's only snowed a tiny little bit here in Westchester, NY. I loved last year's (or maybe the year before- I can't remember) 'blizzard', where over 2 feet fell over Christmas/New Year's.

I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

wow... what a blizzard... 3 years ago we had 8 feet of snow drop down on us... it was NOT fun clearing out the driveway... and my grandpa's... and my grandma's...

Oh god! I remember that year... and it kept snowing like several feet everyday if I remember correctly! It made it very difficult to get out to the mall...
