LOST....who will die?

It's been made public for awhile now that one of the major female characters on Lost will be killed sometime soon (I believe it's going to happen around the holidays?). I know US Weekly has a small article with each female character, a reason why they could be the one killed, a reason why they could not and the odds that it is them......

For the Lost fans on the board....any guesses on who it may be?

I'm afraid it will be Cynthia Watros. I was so happy to see her on the show, but I think she's the best candidate.

She plays the blonde one who's with Ana Lucia and group. I can't remember her character's name at the moment!

The way ABC has been playing it up in the commercials, I hope it’s not Cynthia Watros or Michelle Rodriguez (we don’t know enough about their characters yet for their deaths to have any effect…hell, Cynthia Watros has only had two lines of dialogue since she first appeared).

Maybe it’s Claire? She hasn’t had much to do on the show since the baby was born last season.

I know it's one of the MAJOR characters, the US Weekly thing listed Claire, Sun, Kate, Ana Lucia and Shannon as the potentials.

US Weekly's reasoning about it NOT being Maggie Grace is that she just moved into a new home where the show is filmed. But I think the odds looked good that it may be her. Too bad, I like her character. She may be b*tchy but seemed like she's changed a lot throughout the show.

I know it's not Kate (damn) or Ana because they have upcoming flashbacks.The woman who plays Sun has just brought a house where they are fliming. So it's either down to Claire or Shannon. Please let it be Shannon.

Lorelai - I wouldn't necessarily take any spoilers at face value. My guess is CLaire or Shannon - Ana Lucia and Libby are too new, Kate and Sun are TOO central and important - either of their deaths wouldn't really dramatically make much sense in the grand scheme. Since Claire is destined to raise Aaron by herself, that pretty much leaves us with Shannon...

Ok, it won't be Kate because she's considered the 'female lead' and we still have way too much backstory to catch up on. It won't be Ana-Lucia because then we can't have the Ana-Sawyer-Kate love triangle. It won't be Sun becuase it ruins the big dramatic renuion between her and Jin. It won't be Claire because she has Aaron and she has to deal with Charlie once he starts using drugs again, which he will. That leaves Shannon. There's really nothing important to learn about her or for her to do. Besides, in the preview for the next new episode, she went running into the jungle in the pouring rain after 'Walt.'

SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN TONIGHT'S EPISODE










WOW.

All I knew was someone died this episode, nothing else, yaay for no spoilers. I gave myself a million reasons why it couldn't be Sawyer, still was worried, but then when it was Shannon and Sayid in the jungle I was like okay it better be Shannon not Sayid, kept saying that, then the camera stayed on him and I got so worried but finally saw her w/ the shot and was like yes!!(never like the character or actress, thought she shoulda died instead of Boone) but then saw Ana Lucia w/ the gun and gasped of shock. It was seriously, yes to gasp. Wow. Great episode.

Flashbacks were boring and I argeed with her step mom that she should work to get money insted of living off her father's money.

Now if they can kill off Kate, Jack and Ana I'll be a happy camper.

That was kinda harsh wasn't it? Sorry I did not like Shannon and I don't like Jack Kate or Ana. Did you see Sayid's reaction? He looked like he was about to kill Ana. Then again I would too.
Is it me or the flashbacks (not inculding Hurly's) this season really boring?

Last season, Shannon was a really annoying character, but she had really grown on me. I'm sad to see her go... unless she's not actually dead. The writers like to screw with us, and as much as I think she is actually gone, it's possible that she's not, right?
