The ABC website has better summaries than I think anyone here can tell you, and it's pretty simple to find. Good luck with you obsession! I'm in the same boat. sigh, Charlie.

Boone, right???? SO dreamy--those little flushed patches on his cheeks and those freakin' eyebrows. Grrrr.

Boone is amazing! I've loved Ian Someholder since Rules of Attraction. He's beautiful and apparently rumored to be dating the girl that plays his sister on the show. :/

I've got to say, though, that the formula is wearing on me--who's going to wander into the woods this week? What is Sawyer going to steal and be all smug-and-heartless-with-a-hidden-heart-of-gold about? Who is the Japanese chick going to talk to in English?

Oy--I'm losing patience...

thanks for the apology... Why don't people know that? My incredibly intelligent (dumb) friends always say "that Chinese lady". I really appreciate that... considering the fact that I'm Korean, and I told them that the Asian couple from LOST was KOREAN!!

There's no good reason--but there are plenty of reasons--Racism? Parochialism? Ethno-centrism? Laziness? Stupidity?

Pick one. (or more)

I'll probably take all of them... because they come from a small town "bubble" and I am one of the few Asians that go to my school.

BTW, I just wanted to say I watch Lost every Wednesday. I actually started watching because of Dom Monaghan, who was in the LOTR movies... and I still do for him, but the story and show is actually great. I think that it's fun to watch. I really liked the season premiere, and they're still explaining eveyrone's lives. I have to say, the little kid is kind of strange, and the polar bear looked really fake. But their story is really sad. I'm glad they are together on the island, him and his dad.

The back-story was Michael (Harold Perrineau)--how he and his girlfriend had Walt (the kid), she left with Walt, she died, he went to get Walt and learned that the girlfriend never told Walt that he had been writing all these years, wanting to be part of his life.

Dead girlfriend's grief-stricken husband doesn't want Walt, says that "things happen" around him.

Walt is hanging out with Locke, learning to throw a knife. Micheal feels threatened, doesn't like Walt using knives, tells Locke to leave Walt alone. Boone, who has become a foot-soldier in Locke's bizarro cult attacks Michael. Michael is pissed, doesn't feel enough is being done to get off island, doesn't want Walt to "grow up" on the island. Michael decides to build raft. Said and Jack and Kate say "don't", but he starts to build raft.

Walt wanders into woods with dog. Attacked by Polar Bear. Michael and Locke save him together. Group hug.

Meanwhile, Sawyer finds and keeps Claire's diary. Charlie gets it back. Charlie reads diary. Claire loves Charlie. Charlie is happy. Claire is having dreams about a "black rock". Said thinks this is the black rock referred to in the French woman's mysterious notes.

Episode ends with Walt reading all the letters that his mother never showed him, (but which she kept, and the nanny gave to Michael when he picked Walt up)

Boone is hot.
Jack is hot.
Charlie is cute.
Fat guy still quite fat.

But I do agree with you
Charlie is hot
Boone is hott
Jack is sort of hot, not really my type
Fat guy is still fat...
and Locke still creeps me out

Their story is interesting, because it ends up that Michael is willing to be the villian, and not blame Brian for why Walt was left with the dad he's never known

There is definitely good story-telling and character development every week, and I do keep coming back for more--but the whole thing of following someone new into the woods with the hand-held camera and the crazy cross-cut shots and the panic-stricken look in (fill in the blank)'s face and the other-worldly growls. Enough already.

How did he fall off the list???? Totally hot. Many points off for swimming in his jeans, however.

Truthfully, I really don't think Sawyer is that hot... I like Boone and Charlie. They are my guys. I guess on top of not liking Sawyer's character, he seems like a bad boy back in the day. Again, not really my type. I think I like Jack better than Sawyer, but
Charlie
Boone [which I don't really know what to make of him, when they explained his life story, how he was in love with his stepsister. that was gross.]

I like that scene, but I don't think he was wearing anything under so had the jeans been off he would have been naked, mind you... It is..

and bad boys are my type so I guess that's why he does it for me... Updated On: 1/20/05 at 06:01 PM

I would not describe Sawyer as "shy"; who the heck wants to run around a tropical forest in wet denim? It doesn't add up.
