I know i'm probably going to be beaten up by everyone but i absolutely LOVED High Tension! Cecile De France (my avatar) =) she is such a great actress in the film. She also dubbed herself in english. From the moment of the first murder, the tension does not let up at all! I had this sick feeling in my stomach like "oh my god what the f*ck is going to happen next?" And also if you like a lot of blood and gore this is def one of the goriest movies i've ever seen, love it!

I actually heard High Tension was good, until the last twenty minutes and then got dumb.

You can actually buy the DVD. It's the french version but it's still dubbed in english and it's the uncensored NC-17. There was only like 2 min of gore footage that was cut from the US version.

I'll take 20 minutes of dumb. Better than the average of 90 minutes of dumb.

Just got back from seeing Land of The Dead tonight... I thought it was really good. John Leguizamo stole the whole movie; he was so great. I don't want to spoil anything, but his character sure has some interesting twists! Asia Argento was also really good. I thought it was awesome how the film portrayed not only a war between humans and zombies, but also a war between humans and humans (the rich versus the poor). Some parts were disgustingly gory - the audience was groaning in disgust. But it's worth your time if you love horror movies (like I do). re: Land of the Dead

Cannot wait!!! I'm going this weekend. "War of the Worlds" comes out next week, and "Dark Water" the week after... I'll be flat broke in a number of days.

I just saw it tonight. Loved it. Not as good as "Night " or "Dawn" but better than "Day of the Dead". It definitley lived up to its promises of gore. I'm not normally a fan of John Leguizamo but he was fabulous and Asia Argento was the hottest zombie-killing hooker ever. I also wanted to see "High Tension" but it already left the theaters around here. It was in theaters for like what...a week?

Anything is better than 'Day of the Dead". (Even Return of the Living Dead Part 3)

My flat-broke-ass still hasn't seen Star Wars or Batman. And I'm desperately in need to see these, High Tension, Land of the Dead, etc.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

I'll pass, thanks. Was forced to sit through the original Dead movies as part of my horror film course at university and I really really hated them. So I don't want to see a 4th movie.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.
