Hello. I am looking for suggestions for a great competition large group musical number for 16 singer/actor/dancers.
I have had a lot of success with my last three large groups which were
- "Toledo Surprise"/Drowsy Chaperone
- "Step in Time"/Mary Poppins
- "We're in the Money"/42 Street
All three won Best in Show Large Group.
I am open to any and all suggestions.

The Hairspray finale.
How about The Lambeth Walk, from Me And My Girl?
"She's A Nut" from ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY?

Are you more interested in a large group number that features singing and dancing (like the three you've listed)? Or are you also considering numbers that might offer opportunities for creative staging in a competition situation?
If you're open to the second option:
* The Launching from Titanic
* Penny A Tune from Rags
* Hold Back The Night from Metropolis
Otherwise:
* Good Times Are Here To Stay from Dames At Sea
* I Got Rhythm from Crazy For You
* We Dance from Once On This Island
* Everybody Dance from Steel Pier
* The Wrong Note Rag from Wonderful Town

I am also looking for great singing/character pieces that tell a story and end in a big way.
