If you've moved, gotten married, or just never bothered to register to vote, today is the last to do so for the general election.
There are special tables at the DMV so you don't have to wait in line, and DO NOT register with anyone standing outside. Only at the official table in the DMV.

to all new yorkers: i filled out my registration card and mailed it in but i keep seeing all that "must be a resident for atleast 30 days" stuff everywhere. they didnt ask me to mail in proof when i sent in my card, will they ask for a drivers license or some other ID at the polls?

i just really want to make sure i dont miss this election. i've never missed one yet since i started voting 2 elections ago.

Hey guys...where can I go to check to see if my registration went through? I put my stuff in a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard anything.

I heard this on the radio Brian and they didn't specify it was just for VA.
But I suppose it's entirely reasonable that every state would be different.
Having said that, I would imagine the deadline is fast approaching in all states, if not already passed.

Last day for Colorado too.

Campus is a zoo right now with booths everywhere and last minute voters. It took me an extra 10 minutes just to get to class. And I still have yet to register. Hopefully I can do it in time.

I sent my rockthevote slip in this morning. Of course, given that I live in Illinois, we can pretty much assume my state's going for Obama.
