It just interests me how eager we are to believe "dirt" we hear second-or-third-or-more hand about people we don't know and have never met.
I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."

I read the subject of this thread as, "Laurents laughed when Tonya Pinkins got Aida." Reading isn't my strongest suit...(Pun intended)
Comedy is much more difficult than tragedy-and a much better training, I think. It's much easier to make people cry than to make them laugh.

I can't speak for anyone else,but I have met Laurents and Perkins. And, I have spent more than some casual time with Strouse (with whom my wife worked), and Perkins former love.
