Has anyone else noticed her face all over the eczema ads on the right of the screen. WHAT THE *!&$#*@&*%????????
I just really needed to get that out.
LOL! I'm so glad someone has mentioned this. I kept laughing. They make it sound like she has liver cancer or something.
It's like she's living with a wart on her pinky toe.
As someone with two close friends with very bad eczema I can tell you it is no laughing matter. No it is not life threatening but it can not only be disfiguring but quite painful. Not to mention the stigma attatched and the quality of life that you are robbed of. Imaginge never wanting to wear shorts, or go swimming or even show your face without fear of being stared at by everyone on the street. Show a little empathy.
I thought she just had cold sores

I have eczema. Not that it's as bad as cancer or something, but it sucks really bad.
I just think it's an over reaction. A young girl I baby-sat had severe eczema, so I've seen how bad it can be, but it really isn't that life-altering. It's like all those people in the Pro-Activ commercials, if you're that insecure about it, you have bigger problems than the ones with your skin.

It's not that bad if you take care of it. I never get on my face or anything, so it's not like people notice. It just gets kinda bad in the winter.

People often describe severe dry skin (Ichthyosis) as eczema which is often incorrect. Dry skin can be often treated with simple moisturizer. Eczema is chronic and often causes severe rashes and can be extremely painful.
If there is a dermatologist on the board - he or she could further explain.

Elvis- I know what you mean. I have eczema too, and while it's not the worst thing in my life or anything, it is annoying, painful, and embarassing sometimes. And brdlwr, I have been diagnosed, i guess would be the word, with it. But back to Leann Rimes...
I used to get eczema on my legs when I was a kid, but I grew out of it, I guess. I've started getting it on my arms this winter. It's uncomfortable, but mine isn't too bad. And winter clothes make it easily concealed.

Yeah something about the cold weather aggravates it, it's really annoying lol. In the warm weather I have no problems. Does anyone know what the stuff LeAnn uses is called? I'm actually supposed to go to the dermatologist, and I wanted to ask for it.

Would you get in a pool with this child? Or just laugh at him?
