I saw this in the "People in the News" section in the Buffalo paper. It is from his upcoming book. It sounds mean since I always like Penelope. Maybe she is tough to work with.

John Leguizamo played a cruel prank on Carlito's Way co-star Penelope Ann Miller after the pair fell out - by shrinking her costumes. The actor took an instant dislike to Miller during the shooting of the 1993 film.

In his upcoming autobiography “Pimps, Hos, Playa Hatas, And All The Rest Of My Hollywood Friends,” Leguizamo writes, "You really have to know Penelope Ann Miller to dislike her. She's the kind of girl who would flirt with anyone in the world as long as people are watching."

Leguizamo and the wardrobe department decided to get even with Miller - by taking in her clothes an inch at a time.

He writes, "Every day her outfits are getting a little tighter, a little tighter. She goes on a starvation diet. Watch the movie, you'll see she gets thinner and thinner."'

I was in a month's run of a play I couldn't stand with a co-star who thought the world of himself. I picked out a single tooth of his zippers so he couldn't make the fast changes we needed in the show.
That night he went onstage with his fly open twice.

One doesn't hear much about Penelope Ann Miller these days. She was wonderful in the revival of "Our Town" in the late 80s.

Brenda: Chris I'm begging you, it's really scary here. I've just seen three people shoot up, a bald Chinese lady with no pants on, and there's this old guy outside who wants his bedroom slippers!
Old Man: [banging on telephone booth] Get out of my house!
Brenda: [kicks out a small box and the guy's slippers] You just moved!

MrMidwest-that is definitely a stellar moment. I loved Brenda in that movie. POOR BRENDA!!! Remember when she tried to buy a hotdog with a check?????

Old hot-dog vendor :"You slip me the cash and I'll slip you the weiner."
Brenda: "but I don't have any cash."
Old hot-dog vendor: "Then I don't have a weiner."
