Just wondering if anyone's read it yet. She's had quite an amazing life, so I would think it'd probably be a pretty enthralling book.

I finished it last night - enthralling is a good word, but heartbreaking is closer. Amazing to me that this woman actually led the life that she did considering the challenges she had growing up.

She was on Oprah today talking about the book and her life. Unfortunately, she was only the main focus of 2 or 3 segments of the show. I would've liked to have seen a whole episode just about her.

this book is a big hit at my house. we even had a burstyn film fest. well worth the read. truly haunting. also explains why she was so afraid of lee strasberg (after the father she had)
