Posted: 7/7/04 at 9:44amThis thread just made me think - I know there are a lot of young people on the board. GET OUT THERE AND VOTE. People 18-25 are the worst at voting. Let's take control and let our opinions count for something! In 10-20 years we're going to be the ones trying to fix the country if we contiue to let it go down this path. Let's get it done now. Vote, vote, vote - and tell all your little friends to do the same! (especially if you live in the midwest or god forbid florida! lets take care of these "swing" states)

Yes. We are the worst at voting.
To illustrate:
At 24 I entered the voting booth and stood there for 3 minutes staring at the buttons and names with a blank stare. Then I tryed to make one of the little levers work, and it pinched my finger. I started wailing like a 3 year old, until the old lady came and collected me. I gave her a dollar.
To this day, I'm not sure who I voted for, or if I voted at all.
Calling on all 18-25 year olds. Lets be better at voting.

It's disgusting how many people my age won't vote. Maybe if everyone had to take a citizenship test and jump through flaming hoops at INS, they'd be more grateful for their rights. Or at least aware of them.
