Elphaba - I see your Ducks won.
Plenty of upsets in college ball yesterday. Even the pathetic Huskers beat Kansas State.
If Texas and USC are in the championship bowl, it would be the first time that I would ever root for Texas!

we escaped Pullman, brd......can't call it a win, we escaped, lol...field goal with 1 second left. Keeps us 9-1, tied for second, and after SC beats UCLA (and we beat oregon State...ugh), we'll own second, and talk is, us versus Notre Don't in the Fiesta Bowl......woohoo!

E - that would be a great match up Notre Dame - Oregon.
The wind is killing the Bears today as well as stupid turn overs.
Record missed field goal return for the Bears - it will be the highlight film of the day!

Posted: 11/13/05 at 2:26pmwell, knowing how luck is.......we'd probably lose. As Oregon State has beat ND twice in two recent bowl games, I just have this feeling we'd lose.....but who knows.

The Georgia-Auburn game killed me.
It was one of the most fun games I have seen all year.
Now we still must get the win against Kentucky for the SEC championship game though. I think we can beat LSU or Alabama, with Shockley though.
These last two games have been tough.

Is it me but is Eli Manning overrated ?
His stats are abysmal & many of his interceptions were on balls he never should have trown - like todays interception

My initial thought on that Roxy is, "He is still young."
Is he being over hyped because the team is winning and it's New York, yes. Is he as talented as any QB in the league, possibly.

The defense rests. After his 1 st today, I turned it off
i just turned it back on to see he threw another one. Sounds like a young Vinnie Testaverde

Bears win in a sloppy game by both the Giants and the Bears. The wind was a major factor.
Watch for the failed field goal returned for a touchdown on the highlight shows tonight.

I love college football, but hate NFL.
My school's team (Virginia Tech Hokies) is out of the running for the national championship after losing miserably to Miami, though. So that's sad.

Posted: 11/13/05 at 7:04pmdon't they always lose to Miami?

Posted: 11/13/05 at 7:09pmVirginia tech has beaten Miami many times in the past 10-15 years, I believe they even had a 9-2 streak at home before that last game.

We're ahead in the VT-Miami series, acctually. :-P
Including having won the last two years: '03 in a major upset victory at the end of an otherwise disappointing season, and '04 to win the ACC title.
But yeah... this year they definitely killed us... on our home field. It wasn't pretty to watch, and eventually I was just glad that we scored at all.

day, why do i feel like yelling 'THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING?"
I stand corrected on VTU-Miami, not sure why I thought they rarely won
