That is the exact quote that I said last year when Ms.Spears was set to open the VMA's. A year has gone by after that horrific performance and she is set to open the show one more time. I'll say it again and dear God I hope I'm right this time.

I don't know, but I think its hysterical because in anticipation, my AP human geography
teacher is making us do a project where we schedule her comeback world tour through 6 cities, but we have to choose from a list of nine countries:
Germany
Swaziland
Tonga
Iran
Azerbaijan

Bangladesh

She looked great if I do say so much self. She seemed very scared and threatened bless her heart. I really think 2009 is going to be a good year for her.

See I disagree, I am VERY happy for her and honestly think 2009 will be huge for her but I think she was thinking, "What are these people thinking. All these people are young and I've been around the block."

I guess that's one way of apologizing to her from last year and exploiting her. Yes, Britney looked great- so did Pink and Christina. The host tanked. I actually switched channels in the middle of it! P.S. Don't get me wrong, I am rooting for Britney to do well. Just seemed like this was all a bit contrived!

Like OVER AND OVER AGAIN. They really are dedicated. I think after this hellacious year she's had and to see that she won, shows that people still want her around.

Then it makes sense for Britney to get all the awards- I guess to get back at MTV for exploiting her last year. I also think it's ironic that MTV even gives out video awards when they barely even play music videos! I'm old enough to remember when MTV debuted and it was all about the VJs and videos. Now it's all about The Hills! (okay- DON't EVEN get me started!)

I'm rooting for Britney to pull herself together and make a legitimate comeback too, but the MTV VMA's are a joke.
Pink's performance was the highlight for me.

Posted: 9/8/08 at 12:04pmPink was stunning as always. If you get the chance to see her live--DO. Loved Aguilera as well. Rihanna. Kid Rock gave a great performance. I'm intrigued by the Jonas Brothers as that was the first time I have ever heard or seen them perform.

I like Pink and especially love her Stupid Girls song (it's my daughter's anthem!). Pink looked beautiful last night! I just heard the Jordin Sparks remark about Promise Rings and not being a slut. I don't believe you are a slut if you don't wear a ring in public to show everyone how virginal you are.
