Time magazine offers up an article comparing Obama to Reagan. If it weren't so dangerous in how wrong it is, I'd be laughing.
Not only has the media gone absolutely insane, but they are really peeing their pants that they can't make the Obama magic work anymore.
And obviously the Obama handlers have no concern for the gay community. The gay community thinks of Reagan as a mass murderer. Is that really how they want Obama portrayed?

Such an ironic thread title.
Totally. Obama doesn't seem to be suffering from dementia.
Goth...first off...
I'm gonna say it again, your a HUGE effing idiot. Other's might wanna seem classy and not say it, but it's what everybody thinks, and I aint in the mood to be classy
ANYWAY
kinda funny that you say liberals are running away scared...cuz you have yet to respond to the thread about Republicans cutting arts fund. You post what you think is a point, then run. Idiot
Goth is very good at what he does.

I've made several comments on that thread. What happens here is that people don't want to concede my point, and so change the subject. I'm not going to chase around answering every little fire that people like you start. If you want to have honest discussion, then do it.
But you're an effin idiot because you can't accept other people's opinions with grace.

you are = you're
Effin' idiocy runs the gamut along the ideological spectrum.
waaaaaait you are pointing the finger at me for not accepting other's idea with grace?
No no, YOU are the one who cant handle the fact that your ideas are superbly idiotic and when people point out the faults you run away and cry like a little baby.
And I'm not just talking about the one thread, i'm talking about all the thread's where you post and run.

Rather than calling me names, why don't you intelligently discuss the article I posted.
Why do you think Time is linking Obama with Reagan?
Why should I? You never seem to have a civilized argument. You make your half baked point and run.

"Why should I?"
Why even bother to post on my thread? Obviously just to call me names.
Because it's a free country. And why do you post on other people's threads? To post crap idea's and facts that you think are true yet in reality are hysterically incorrect? And then only to run away when proved wrong?

Don't feed the trolls, folks. It can be so satisfying seeing those unfortunate threads go unresponded to. Does wonders for the blood pressure, too.

For Q:
idea's = plural, not possessive
Finger,
You've just recently joined. You’ve had very little experience dealing with Goth. Please try to refrain from calling him names because it just makes you look bad.
Sort of like the cousin who is mean to the elderly, senile Grandparent at a family reunion.
Goth is obviously slipping into senility, so we just sort of let him ramble. It keeps him from drooling into his key board.
^Good point. I'll refrain in future postings :)
Wait, I am generally confused. Didn't Obama himself cite Reagan for his political and communication skills? It had nothing to do with his policies, but his effectiveness.
Recognizing one's effectiveness has nothing to with agreeing with the policies or practices of that person.
That is like saying because I recognize that Kevin Garnett is a great basketball player that I am suddenly rooting for the Celtics. One has nothing to do with the other.
What's the big deal?
See, Goth...
This is where you would explain your point of view!
Okay... And GO!

Funny how that wasn't your response when I was helping you with your Green Acres project. Duly noted.
I'm not running scared. Anyone else?

YWIW, I understand what you are saying, but if Obama wanted to cite someone's political and communication skills, couldn't he have used JFK? Why specifically Reagan, someone who is vilified and hated by liberals?
From now on, politicians can only cite members of their own political party.
Goth, the Green Acres thread has nothing to do with politics.
I can seperate the two.
Because if he is reaching out to the "Reagan Democrats" or independents, citing Reagan, the "great communicator" kind of makes sense.
Also, many of those he is targeting were not voting when Kennedy was alive.
(FWIW, he could not cite Clinton for his political skills because his wife was running against him)
I fail to see how finding something to admire in "the opposition" is a bad thing.
