First name pronounced "Loave" and last name pronounced "Gar-rett."
I think it's like "LAYV SHREYE-ber"
I think Liev rhymes with "gave"
just refer to him as "Mrs. Texas Two Step." And if you're hot enough, you may learn my pet name for him.
i always thought it was lee-ev.
it's "DUMP-ling".
if it follows the german grammar rules, it should be
Leaf Schr(eye)ber
ie is pronounced ee, v is pronounced as an f
ei is pronounced I
if it doesn't, then I have NO idea
I have always heard it pronounced Lee-ev...

IMDB says it's pronounced "Lee-ev", but if you're speaking German it's pronounced Leaf, like Elphaba said. I'm sure it's because we Americanized it. His last name is swanky - it means "writer" in German.

Yeah, I always thought it was Liev, like Kiev.
i always thought it was lee-ev schrei (rhymes with fry) ber (rhymes with fur)
It is Lee-ev...however, it's said fast that at times it sounds like Leev (as in Leave).
Has anyone ever heard him say it himself?
I've always thought the name was Russian, so I've been pronouncing it "Lee-Ev," like Kiev. That's how it's pronounced in the media.
"Yeah, I always thought it was Liev, like Kiev."
exactly what i thought.
Lee-ev and let Lief, for pity's sake!
