It only takes 30 seconds, i have checked it out, they are creditable, they are giving away up to 100,000 dollars on the today show for AIDS research and they are not even CLOSE to that much now.

It's as easy as 1-2-3. Simply
1) go to the site (It will start with an ad for
'Reyataz', a drug)
2) wait for it to load an animation which forms the
continents of the world
3) click on a continent to "light a candle". You will
be asked to which you want to dedicate your candle:
strength, hope, love....
For EVERY candle lit BMS will donate one dollar. The
donation will be made on World AIDS Day, December
1st. The event will be televised on the TODAY Show (NBC).

I lit a candle and I feel proud...
Such an easy thing to do for such a worthy cause.
I wonder if it counts if you light more than 1 candle. I assume it does...

I did it and I had my roommate do it to. This is so simple, I think everybody should do it.
Edit: I just sent out an email to all the girls on my floor, hopefully they will get it in time and decide to light a candle.

Well, one was enought to make me break down and cry.
God bless all my friends
Ted, Tracy, Rodger, Mai Tai, Deserie, Mark, Alan and so many more wonderful people that deserve to still be here.
Ouch, my heart hurts.

I lit a candle, and forwarded to friends.
One question... I didn't quite pay attention, and was wondering to whom/what/where they're donating the $1 to.

I just rented ANGELS IN AMERICA the other day but haven't watched it yet. I am def. watching it tonight. I will donate when I get home after work. I don't personally know anyone who has died of Aids or even have Aids now but my heart still reaches out to those people who did/do.
**Here is to the men and women and children who have died from this horrible disease. You all will be missed.**

I will never forget walking by candlelight through the streets of DC during the first AIDS March and the sight of 100,000 flames lighting the Mall. I will never forget the complete silence.
I will never forget sewing my first block for the AIDS quilt.
I will never forget helping to lay those thousands of pieces of quilt on the Mall to form one large quilt, and then standing back and sobbing uncontrollably for an hour.
I will never forget the death of my first friend to AIDS
I will never forget my first "AIDS Buddy"
I will never forget finding out that one of my former partners had died of AIDS
I will never forget my first test
I will never forget my last test (this week)
I WILL NEVER FORGET!
