Bubbles is a favorite. The fat suit he wears when she is naked is jaw dropping. The BBC lets you get away with so much then we do here.

Well, that all depends on how you look at it. The BCC also edited out Little Britain's church lady (Maggie) and her vomiting friend, because they were an insult to women's volunteer Christian organizations.

I kid you not. They edited those sketches from all future broadcasts in 2004.

So, "offense" is in the eye of the beholder.

Well, if I'm reading the article correctly, they didn't edit out the sketches; they just edited out references to the ladies' belonging to the WI (who, I assume, didn't want to be implied to be racist).

Not exactly the same thing.

At first glance, it sounded like they'd removed the whole sketch where they'd visited the conservative MP with the Ainsley Harriott recipe. That's what I get for skimming.

Well, it's still censorship... just not as bad as I thought.

I hear what you are saying. Still, I can not see Bubbles wrestling with another woman naked exactly being on CBS in a prime time spot. Watching the show really does make my sides hurt. Oh, and I also love Lou and Andy!

Im so glad the americans love this too

Its one of my faves here in the UK, though the last season was not the best
