This message board is as ridiculous as ever, Theatre just scored a big win with the Wicked movie, the majority thinks they pulled it off with style, the lead women (both women who have done theatre) get nominated for awards, the box office is great. Broadway World is like 'but nobody takes these awards seriously' Some people must just sit in a cloud of bitterness, it's sad.And no, I'm not a Wicked fan, thought the film did a great job.

Something has obviously gone horribly wrong between London and Broadway. I do think one of the biggest downfalls in this transfer that the producers didn't seem to take in to account is that America is a much much much more religious country than the UK, and people lost money to Tammy and her husband and all those alike. Madonna sang over pre record for songs on this tour, but she sang every song (bar 2). I agree though, she ain't gonna perform in a musical night after night.
