Little Edie and Jacqueline Bouvier - similar accent?

The Ann-Margret thread got me thinking about Jacqueline Bouvier's soft measured speaking voice, so I started searching around on youtube.

There I found this clip .. and for the first time I could hear the connection to Little Edie Beale in the speaking voice.

Their cadence is remarkably similar with Little Edie's being the more exaggerated of the two.

Anyway.. just an observation I thought I'd share for any other GREY GARDENS fans.
