Poor Butch.
I'd hate to live in California.
No, seriously, this is really eerie. I'd never heard this before!

In the newer 1994 version of Little Rascals, "Waldo Aloysius Johnston III" was played by a kid named Blake Ewing.
My sister's become obsessed with him because he's in this community theatre production of AIDA that was posted on youtube that she watches at least five times a day. He appears not to have grown at all since then-- he looks exactly the same as he did in Little Rascals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIfiIqhf8qY

Times Square-are those hair plugs on that kid? He looks young for that.
Anyway, there's nothing like the actual Little Rascals. I never could figure out of they talented actors at their young ages, or did the director know how to get it out of them, or did they just follow them with a camera and they were being natural?
It used to be my favorite program. I'd like to see them again, but is it true what they say about Bill Cosby and the ban on showing them?

Actually according to the complete unedited DVD collection. Chubby died after going on a crash diet and losing 200 LB.
Wheezers plane accident was while he was in the service.
I don't give much credence to the Bad luck or Little Rascal Curse. I mean there was a huge cast of kids and SH*T happens. Damned if there was a Little Rascals curse then there is an I Love Lucy Curse too. Most in that show are dead now too.

Posted: 1/27/09 at 7:25pmNo wonder people thought tomatoes were poisonous until the 1820's!

Isn't Blake Mciver Ewing the incredibly effeminate boy who was D.J.'s friend on Full House?
He also played The Boy in the original L.A. company of RAGTIME.

Yeah it is really racist
Little kids playing together & none of them care a whit about each others race.

Shouldn't a list that's supposed to demonstrate bad luck contain just examples of bad luck?

Butch - Currently lives in Calif"

I was given the remastered full collection recently which are unedited. The quality of some of the earliest ones are pretty shabby (They weren't digitally remastered), and the sound is kind of crappy however...
For the time they were produced they are actually pretty progressive. Yes, there are racial jokes inserted into them but most of them seem superfluous and almost an afterthought.
In the world which the children interacted, those never ending summer days of childhood, race never seemed an issue. Each member of the gang was respected and valued as an equal member of the group by the group.
In working my way through the entire 84 shorts, I am amazed at how far ahead of their time they were. They captured a glimmer of a world of equality in childhood play and friendship during a very segregated time in this country.
Gotta go it's time to grease Weezer!

I love how Buckwheat's character started out as a little girl then changed to a little boy as he got older.
Learn that poem! learn that poem.....
