Lizzie posted earlier that a bunch of San Fran based websites are down today. LJ is based out of San Fran. I am betting it's related.

Apparently a transformer or something blew out. Craigslist is down too.

*sigh*... does that mean I have to actually CALL me friends to find out what's new in their lives?

Dude and I'm FROM the Bay Area, too, but I'm not on that side of the bay today.

LJ, Craigslist, Yelp and a bunch of other website all all use the same datacenter in Downtown SF. Something happend over at PG&E causing power outages all over Downtown SF. Here's a link to an article taking about what happened.
