I just cut my hair off. (Yes, the picture to the left is no longer current, even though it was taken only about a month ago.) I didn't even think about Locks of Love, but my hair was definitely not long enough anyway.

It's so great that you were able to donate your hair. I've already done it once, and I'm almost ready to cut around 11 inches off to donate again. It is such a pain to grow and take care of long hair, but it's worth it.

I'm off to the salon soon to have my hair cut. It's such a strange feeling and your hair has so much more movement. You never realize how much weight hair has until it is gone. Goodbye hair. I hope someone will be able to enjoy it.

I am still planning on doing this....but I haven't got up the guts QUITE yet...for I love my hair (and I'm a historical reenactor, so i need it...but once I quit my hair is GONE)

My sister has done this twice and only grows her hair long to donate it

It seems like donating your hair can become addicting. At least its a good one.

About a year ago when my hair was REALLY long, I donated it to Locks of Love. It was 2 1/2 feet long when I donated it!
