Looking for an album from childhood

I had a distinct memory the other day of an album I used to listen to as a kid - it was Carol Channing with a group of kids singing what I can only assume were children's songs. I looked on itunes and came up empty. The wikipedia page doesn't mention anything, neither did any of the first five or six pages of google searches.

I would assume this probably came out late 70s/early 80s, though it could have been earlier than that.

Anyone have any idea?

I don't think that's it. I definitely remember her singing on the album. I can't remember any of the songs, but I don't think I would have listened to this over and over again.

I also distinctly remember there being kids on the album.

Actually, it was stumbling across a clip from this that sparked the memory of the original album. So no, that wasn't it either, but that Alice in Wonderland was entertaining as hell.

Unfortunately I really can't. I've been wracking my brain trying to remember them and I can't. I remember it sounding like she was in a library or something with a bunch of kids and telling jokes, telling stories, and singing songs with them. That's about all I can remember. I'm guessing, based on the fact that searching has turned up nothing, that it was never transferred to CD. I'm pretty sure I had it on a cassette.

Lol, I was looking at that when I was searching scallion.

That's why I thought maybe if Jason could remember some of the songs we could figure out if it was any of those on the site.

I don't think it's there though.

Any chance it's Kidding Around with Carol Channing and the Kids - Camp Songs, Riddles, Jokes and Other Stuff ?

Jason, so glad I could help out! It was finally a Bing search that led me to worldcat (initially a different Channing album), which led me to the title (but no image there), and then searching that title brought up the flickr link. I figured surely that had to be it. :)
