From her FB page. This makes me very happy.
From Lorna:
Hi Everyone!
I'm so happy to report that I have completed my last chemo treatment; I am finishing much earlier than expected and I’m thrilled. The care I have received from my doctors has been remarkable. I will never be able to verbalize how grateful I am to each one of them for their phenomenal talents.
First, Dr. David Agus: A true genius and a treasure to humanity. With his ability to educate, focus, lead my team, communicate and inform me about cancer, he has been the greatest gift I have ever had and I will be forever grateful to him.
Dr. Jerrold Steiner: The most amazingly gifted surgeon and the sweetest doctor any patient could ask for.
Dr. Philomena McAndrew: An angel of a woman who is a brilliant, extraordinary, phenomenal doctor that will be in my life forever as a friend, teacher and, most of all, part of my family.
To my nurses: Whose talent, humor, love and care have been unbelievable; I thank you with every fiber of my being.
To all of my beautiful, extraordinary friends: Those who came and drove me to chemo club, unselfishly opened their homes to me, who visited me, called to check up on me, made me laugh and got me out of the house; I'm humbled to be your friend. You all made an incredibly scary, dark, powerless ride, so much easier! You will never know how much I appreciate your friendship. I love each and every one of you.
To my husband Colin, my children and family, Jesse, Jaimee, Vanessa, Jane, Liza, and Joe: you walked the walk with me, cried with me, laughed with me, listened to me and were “there" for me. You are my heart and soul.
To everyone who left me beautiful messages and have continued to do so: Thank you so much!! You have been a huge part of this ride and made it so much easier! I can't wait to thank you at my upcoming concerts!
Finally, to every woman who, like myself, will continue to fight, educate, communicate and never give up hope that one day we will not have any more members of this club: Until then let's never stop making our voices heard and “paying it forward”.
To our sisters who have come before us, who are going through this and will go through this: I will be here with and for you.
Love you all!
Lorna

She sounds like such a trouper. I love her.
Lorna Luft is a class act...glad she's doing better!
Here's hoping some other people currently undergoing various treatments get of little of the same successful-treatment karma.
Many Blessings to Lorna...sounds like you have a lot of love around you.

Have run into Lorna, by accident, at the local grocery store a couple of times. Obviously, before she was sick. I had no idea. So glad to hear she's doing well. All my love and positive energy to her and her family right now.

She's a lovely woman, and she has certainly earned a happy ending to this event.
