Every Julie London album cover is a work of the very heights of high camp.
I was taught that an appreciation of Julie London is what separates gay men from gay boys.
It took me years to "get her number."

It's very breathy. Actually, it's all breath.
She sings every song like she she's just had sex. [edit--what was I thinking?!?]

Didn't Ann-Margret do more or less the same thing in alot of her songs?

Don't get your thong in a twist. Very underrated special.
Do you know what happens when you let Veal Prince Orloff sit in an oven too long?

We watched it last night. The whirlwind worldwide tour was a bit hokey, but the duets with Ray Charles are still breathtaking. I could watch "Crying Time Again" again and again.
Singing with Ray Charles was maybe the last time she subsumed her ego to another performer. I can think of only two other examples: her duet medley with Judy Garland and her brief duet with Louis Armstrong in the middle of the "Hello, Dolly" title number.

You mean you did not like "Snow" or "Glad to Be Unhappy" with Joe Layton?

I'm loving everything about every frame.
Her talent is blasting me away.
Right now she has that 'Owl and the Pussycat' hair.
So cool.
