so for those of you who thinks she's changed, do you think she should help pay back the funds she swindled out of people?

Did she swindle people? I don't think Tammy Faye was bright enough. Her husband did jail time, I would think it was he who had to pay back any damges not her.She didn't go to jail. I don't even think she was charged with a crime, but I could be wrong.

She was the lovable, cuddly face. It was "Jim&Tammy" not "Jim, with his sometime-seen little sidekick, Tammy." Sure, there would probably have been a Clyde without a Bonnie, but just because she's funny and goes on and on about loving everybody, doesn't mean Tammy wasn't Bonnie to Jim's Clyde.

I never believed Tammy knew what her husband was doing, much less being his partner in crime. She was married to him, true, but she probably only knew as much as he wanted her to know and as much as she was willing to investigate. I think because of Falwell's power and her and Jim's notariety, she struggled to stay afloat in what she knew was a crumbling empire. She just didn't know why it was crumbling. There was never any suggestion that she had any hand in the dealings, any knowledge of it, or that she was really even bright enough (or sober enough) to figure it all out before the axe fell. She's not stupid, but she's not exactly brilliant, either.

Ambitious? Absolutely. Smart? Not really.

According to the CNN website, Tammy Faye will be live on Larry King Thursday, (July 19th) at 9:00pm eastern time. I find it hard to sit through Larry these days - he and Barbara Walters should do a tour together - but I may have to check this one out.
