How loyal are y'all to your hair stylist, server at your favorite restaurant, manicurist, etc?
I consider myself very loyal to Loliette, and also to my friend Derick at the Cheesecake Factory...
Thoughts please.

I went to a certain Hairstylist for a long while, and after about a year or so he started to cut my hair like he didn't know how to work thick dark hair anymore. He would take over an hour to give me a simple cut becuase he was always running behind or he needed to talk some more. I would go home angry at my hair cut that made my hair poof. I would be so pissed you could just see my face turning red in the mirror, So I switched.
Currently though I'm not to fond of my hairstylist now. I prefer someone who doesn't talk down to me or act like they know what's best for my hair and now, frankly my hair is boring, long, no more wavy goodness. I think I need to find someone who really will give me something special.
As for manicures, ha I wish I liked getting them, but I don't. Plus most of them don't speak English and the're very hard on my hands and feet.
I really like the lady who does my eye brow waxing. She's young and makes them perfect for my face. she's worth the money.
that's my two cents.

Posted: 9/2/05 at 8:11pmI wish I had a hair stylist who knew my hair well and didn't muck it up all the time. At the salon I go to know I'm treated very well, and I always get fresh rasberry iced tea and scones for free, but other than that, maybe it's just me. I always seem alittle iffy about my hair because it's so thick. Right now I'm actually thinking about getting it cut. It's getting Long long (Like almost touching my lower back long) and boring. Some change might be good before I move to New York.

Posted: 9/2/05 at 8:41pmI always get my hair cut at this little independently owned "hole in the wall" shop outside of San Diego. The woman there is named Maria and we're on a first name basis. I always go to her for a trim or if I have to get my hair cut a certain way for a show and she charges me half price and I get her tickets and coupons for her family and all so it's cool...
