I've now seen filming going on in Midtown Manhattan twice with actors' trailors that had the names "Lucy" and "Desi" on their doors.

Today was on 41st St. between 6th and Broadway (right across from the 6th Ave. entrance to Bryant Park).

Does anyone have any information on this? I was in a rush both times and wasn't able to stop and get the name of what was being filmed.

Desi is the men's bathroom and Lucy is the Female's bathroom.

Location trucks will usually mark them this way to avoid people on the street realizing that there are toilets there.

What a great way to honor their memory. Name toilets after them. Sheesh!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Patty Duke once said that Lucille Ball was full of sh!t, so I guess it is appropriate.
