just watched the episode last night where Lucy gets into a movie... the one with the giant headress and staircase... so great

That show is timeless...

Did you know that Lucy's famous "euuuuw" expresion was originally used in a radio commercial for butter?

I Love Lucy is the FUNNIEST show ever created (even though TV Guide gave it to Seinfeild. WHY?). The "Vitametavegiman" episode has never been beat (as well as the chocolate factory episode) in all the years after I Love Lucy was cancelled. That show changed television forever (was the first show to use movie cameras, first show to have interracial marriages, etc). Lucy was a freakin' genious.

Spider, I'm with you. The Vitametavegiman is sooooo funny. I was in tears...
At the California State Fair a few years back they had an I Love Lucy exhibit. There was a conveyor belt game, a vitametavegiman speech contest and a grape stomping contest. I still have pics from that

The ending of that episode ( when Lucy and that woman gets in the fight and she goes to kick her but falls ) made me laugh so hard that I actually started to cry.

What about when Lucy gets locked in the Meat Locker--and comes out with icicles over her eyebrows?

I have an episode guide for I Love Lucy and it is basically my Bible.
I always remember the episode where Lucy, Ethel, and Fred go the restaurant once they're in Hollywood and William Holden is there. After a while, the tables are turned and Will starts staring at Lucy. Lucy is trying to eat her spaghetti but gets to much, so Ethel pulls out a pair of scissors and cuts them

In same episode, Nina, Lucy and Ethel are fighting over who is in a particular picture on the wall--Rosalind Russell or Jane Wyatt?

Just then, Eve Arden walks past, snarls "It's Eve Arden!" and storms off!

One of my favorite episodes is when Lucy finds out she is pregnant and Ricky sings "Rock-a-bye Baby" and goes to each couple to see if it is them who are expecting and then he goes to Lucy and she nods yes, and then goes "IT'S ME" and sings "We're having a baby, my baby and me."

The end of that tango got THE LONGEST LAUGH in I LOVE LUCY history.

(It was so long (sixty-seven seconds) that when the episode is shown in syndication, the laugh is cut in half.

Perhaps my favorite moment of all time is in the episode "Lucy and Ethel Buy the Same Dress"
They both say they will take it back, and neither of them actually do. In the end, they're singing the friendship song while they're taking apart each other's dresses.
