The trippy kaliedscope one? that's iron and wine and the song is called such great heights. it's on the garden state soundtrack.

You pulled out the FOOTLOOSE cast recording? Eh! The movie soundtrack rocks beyond belief.

I had to look twice, Caroline, to be sure I was typing the right info. And being the lazy person I am, I looked at google rather than waiting for itunes to open. I was confused to see the postal service up there... I'll have to listen to their version.

I am listening to the Postal Service's version now. It is an upbeat, electronic version. Ugh! I really like the Iron & Wine version 500 times better.

That's what I love about it. Just sit back, relax, and put the song on while you drink a cold one and of course some M&M's . Perfect!

you would probably enjoy the rest of the garden state soundtrack too. it venures into the electronic thing, but overall it's a good cd to chill out to.

I’m not that familiar with either group, and I’m confused (or I may not be following the thread correctly)...

The Postal Service’s version is the original, isn’t it (and the Iron & Wine version is a cover)?
